Class 9 is where it all begins. The concepts introduced here — motion, algebra, cells, history — are the foundation your Class 10 board exam, Class 11, and beyond are built on. SEHR Academy covers both Kerala State Board and CBSE with the same rigour.
We teach both boards — same small batches, same concept-first approach, same quality of teaching. Here's what each curriculum covers at Class 9.
Both boards, all core subjects — with the same emphasis on understanding first, marks second.
Motion, force, work, energy, sound, and gravitation — the Class 9 physics chapters are the literal groundwork for everything in Class 10, 11, and beyond. We teach them properly the first time.
Matter, atoms, molecules, the structure of the atom, and chemical reactions — the language of chemistry starts here. Students who understand these early have a significant advantage later.
Number systems, polynomials, coordinate geometry, lines and angles, triangles, and statistics — Class 9 Maths is where algebra meets geometry for the first time. We make that transition smooth.
Cell structure, tissues, living organisms, health, and natural resources — diagram-heavy and concept-rich. We build the habit of structured note-taking that pays off in Class 10 and NEET preparation.
Reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and literature — taught for both board exam scoring and the genuine confidence that comes from being able to read, write, and express clearly.
History, geography, civics, and economics — structured chapter-by-chapter with answer-writing techniques and map work that turn a difficult subject into a reliable scorer at the board exam.

We don't just teach the syllabus. We teach Class 9 with one eye always on Class 10, 11, and the competitive exams beyond.
Every concept in Class 9 connects forward. When we teach Newton's Laws, we're already thinking about the Class 11 student in the room. Students who understand the why, not just the how, move through Class 10 and 11 significantly faster.
Class 9 is not a year to get lost in a crowd. Small batches mean every student's understanding — and every gap — is visible. Doubts don't accumulate; they get resolved in the same session.
Short chapter tests, surprise questions, and term-end assessments — not to create pressure, but to surface gaps before they become problems. Students and parents always know where they stand.
State Board and CBSE students sit in the same culture of rigour. The syllabus differs; the standard of teaching doesn't. State Board students get extra conceptual depth for Class 10 board readiness.
Track attendance, syllabus progress, and test results through the student portal. Parents always know exactly where the batch is in the syllabus and how their child is performing — no surprises.

Yes — we have dedicated curriculum tracks for both Kerala State Board (SCERT) and CBSE (NCERT). The content is tailored specifically to your board's syllabus, while the teaching approach — concept-first, small batches, regular tests — is the same for both.
Class 9 is more important than most parents realise. The chapters introduced here — motion, atoms, polynomials, cell biology — are prerequisites for Class 10, not separate topics. Students who have gaps in Class 9 science and maths consistently struggle in Class 10. We teach Class 9 with that forward connection built in.
Yes — contact us to check batch availability. We'll assess how far the batch has progressed and arrange catch-up sessions for any chapters already covered.
That's the plan. Students who start with us in Class 9 move directly into our Class 10 batch — with their classmates, their teachers already knowing their strengths and gaps, and with no disruption. The transition is seamless and we'd rather a student is with us from 9 through to 12 than join halfway through.
Fees are charged monthly. There is no registration fee. See the full breakdown on the Fee Structure page → or WhatsApp us directly for current batch rates.
Indirectly, yes — and significantly. The concepts introduced in Class 9 Physics and Chemistry (motion, atoms, the structure of matter) are the foundational vocabulary of NEET and JEE. Students who understand these properly in Class 9 have a measurable advantage when they reach Class 11 preparation. We don't drill competitive exam content in Class 9 — but we make sure the building blocks are solid.
We take students from Class 9 all the way through Class 12 and into NEET / JEE preparation.
Seats per batch are limited. Tell us your board — State or CBSE — and we'll confirm availability, answer every question, and reserve your place. The earlier the better.
